Three Wounded in Gang Gun Battle
Three young men were wounded, one seriously, in a gang- and drug-related gun battle on a street in South-Central Los Angeles, police said Tuesday.
The youths, who were not immediately identified, were standing behind a residential building on West Gage Avenue near Hoover Street when the attack occurred, investigators said.
The victims were hit by shots fired from a car carrying six or seven people, officers said.
The dwelling was evidently a “rock house†for selling cocaine, police said. No suspects were in custody.
