MBAs Not a Major Employment Factor

CLEVELAND — Master of Business Administration degrees are not a major influence for employment, according to Management Recruiters International.
“MBAs exerted a great deal of influence with only 6.1% of the employment executives polled,” says Alan Schonberg, president of the search firm.
He adds that although the degree was not more critical in one industry over another of the 20 industries polled, the influence of a candidate with an MBA did rise as company size increased.
