China Signs Up for British Rock Music

LONDON — The English-language service of Radio Luxembourg has signed an agreement to broadcast a weekly program of British hit records to China, a station spokesman said here Wednesday.
The agreement calls for 13 two-hour-long programs to be provided to a state-run station in Guangdong province. “We will be reaching a potential audience of 61 million,” the spokesman said.
