Q
On April 14, Calendar Q appealed for fresh, new ideas to help save network TV. The responses continue to continue.
I have a great idea for a television show. It’s a courtroom drama.
A guy places a questionnaire in the L.A. Times Calendar Section. . . . Are you with me on this? It’s brilliant! . . . In it he requests that average people submit ideas for television shows.
Then, and this is where it gets good, he takes the best ideas and tries to turn them into series. Each week he faces a different lawsuit from the originators of the shows.
Is that a high concept or what?
