Suspect Arrested in Shooting Death of Anaheim Man
Police on Sunday arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of murder in the shooting of an Anaheim man whose body was found in an apartment at 1529 W. Ball Road.
Police identified the suspect as Bobby Henry Brown, 26. But they declined to discuss motive and gave no details of the arrest other than to say that Brown was arrested in the vicinity of the apartment about 2:30 p.m.
After receiving a report at 4:45 p.m. Saturday that a gunshot had been heard, police found the body of the 27-year-old victim in the upstairs apartment with a gunshot wound to the head, said Sgt. Jack Jansen.
The victim’s name is being withheld until relatives can be notified.
Brown was held without bail in the Anaheim City Jail, a police spokesman said.
