Exchangors Install Officers, Conduct Real Estate Exchange
Dan Harrison of Harrison Properties in Escondido was installed as president of the National Council of Exchangors at a banquet held earlier this month at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach. Others from the Southland on the new slate of officers include Myrna Bravender of Bravender & Associates, Fountain Valley, who will serve as secretary.
Directors from this area are Howard A. Rosenberg, Grubb & Ellis, Dana Point; Marilyn Slemons, Place Realty, Laguna Beach; George Santy, Century 21, Cerritos; Bob Cooke, Bob Cooke & Associates, Lomita; Charlotte Fredericks, Fredericks Realty, Palm Springs; Byron Owen, Byron Owen Realty, Long Beach; Dolf Keller, Dolf Keller Investments, San Clemente, and Ruth Godfrey, Muni & Godfrey Associates, Upland.
Installation ceremonies coincided with a three-day marketing meeting sponsored by the council, during which more than 150 properties were presented for exchange, with a total value of $350 million.
The properties were situated in 26 states and eight foreign countries and were as diverse as a palace in Spain and a time-share in Mexico.
