Marketing Plan Course Offered
“Implementation of a Marketing Plan,†a 12-week course that is the third of four college-level courses for housing-industry professionals, will begin Tuesday at the University of California, Irvine, as part of the Extension program. Classes will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on successive Tuesdays in Room 262, Humanities Hall.
The course, co-sponsored by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California, is presented in conjunction with a special series, “Marketing for the Residential Developer,†developed by the Institute for Residential Marketing, an affiliate of the National Assn. of Home Builders.
The two courses are part of an educational program required to qualify for membership in the institute and to receive the MIRM designation. The program is directed for the ninth year by Lester Goodman, president of Lester Goodman Associates Inc., a nationally known, Irvine-based marketing services firm. Details are available from the university.
