Seasons

It would be interesting to know who designated the specific time for the beginning of the seasons. In my opinion the calculations were inaccurate. Why can’t a season begin at the beginning of a month?
To begin at the beginning of a month would make no difference in our calendar-day timing. Wouldn’t it be more logical, and less complicated, to have spring begin with April, summer with July, fall with October, and winter with January?
March is too cold for the beginning of spring, June is more like spring than summer, September is more like summer than fall, and December could close off a season and a year at the same time.
All in favor say, “yea!!”
