Austrian Consumer Prices Increased 3.4% in February

VIENNA — Consumer prices in Austria rose 0.5% in February from January and were up 3.4% from a year earlier, the Central Statistics Office reported.
The major increases were for fruit, vegetables, hotel rooms and alcoholic drinks, the government agency said. The figures are seasonally adjusted, it added.
