UCI Tennis Team in Tournament Final

UC Irvine’s No. 3 singles player, Ken Derr, won his eighth straight match Sunday to help the Anteaters beat Arizona State, 5-4, and advance to the final of the UCI tennis tournament.
No. 12 Irvine (18-5) will play host to Maryland (8-2) at 12:30 today in the championship match. Maryland advanced Sunday by defeating Chapman, 6-2, in the semifinals.
Chapman (13-7) will play ASU for third place today at 12:30 at the Ridgeline Country Club in Orange.
