Bernhard H. Goetz “can hardly wait” to testify about the Dec. 22 shootings of four youths on a New York subway train and would be able to appear before a grand jury on Tuesday, one day after a deadline imposed by the jurors, his lawyers said. The lawyers had previously said that their schedules would not permit them to be with their client before the grand jury until Friday, the day the grand jury’s term is due to expire.
