Three people who died Saturday when a pickup truck reportedly ran a stop sign at Buckman Springs Road and Old Highway 80 and collided with a car have been identified by San Diego County coroner’s deputies. Pronounced dead at the scene were Linda Perillo, 40, a social worker, and Christopher Onweller, 14. Tammy Sue Kiefer, 18, died at UCSD Medical Center at 11 p.m. Saturday, about four hours after the accident. All three were Santee residents. Joseph Murphy of San Diego, driver of the pickup truck, will be charged with manslaughter and felony drunk driving, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said. Murphy, 26, was in stable condition at Sharp Memorial Hospital. Also injured in the collision were James Perillo, 18, of Santee (in critical condition at UCSD Medical Center); Jennifer Perillo, 10, of Santee, (in fair condition at Children’s Hospital); Barbara Vecchio, 26, of Los Angeles, (in serious condition at Mercy Hospital), and Richard Onweller, 39, of Santee, (in serious condition at Mercy Hospital).
