A grand jury will question witnesses in connection with rape allegations against actor and pro football Hall of Famer Jim Brown, the district attorney’s office announced today.
The closed proceedings by the county grand jury will help test the credibility of witnesses, said Gil Garcetti, chief deputy district attorney. Brown, 49, and Carol Moses, 22, were arrested Feb. 20 at his home in the Hollywood Hills after a woman filed a police report claiming that she had been raped and sexually battered.
