Seniors Project to Be Launched

Construction is scheduled to begin in early April on a $12.5-million, 126,000-square-foot senior housing and skilled nursing facility at Centre City and El Norte parkways, Escondido. Completion is expected in mid-1986.
The architect is Sillman/Wyman & Associates of San Diego, which described the project as the first in San Diego County to offer distinct senior residential and skilled nursing facilities on the same site.
The developer is Casa de Norte Ltd., a joint venture of Income Property Group and Financial Scene Inc., the latter a subsidiary of Great American First Savings Bank. The general contractor will be Roel Construction Co. of San Diego and the landscape architect, the Cambridge Group, San Diego.
