Teller Machine Looted

Thieves broke into an automated teller machine at a Bank of America branch in Santa Monica and made off with $90,000 stored inside it, police said Saturday. The thieves gained entry to the Bank of America branch on Wilshire Boulevard late Thursday night and plundered the machine from inside the bank’s Versateller room where money for the device is stored, Sgt. Russ Martin said.
