Chemical Explosion Rocks Paper Firm, Sparks Blaze

HOLYOKE, Mass. — Fire and explosions ignited by chemicals Monday blasted debris from a paper products plant, including a barrel that rocketed 200 feet, and firefighters said they expect the blaze will continue to burn for days. The cause was under investigation.
