Summit-Health signed a merger agreement.
The Los Angeles-based health-care company said it agreed to pay $8 per share, or about $9.2 million, for American Pacific Business Ventures, which owns and operates 13 nursing homes in Oregon and Washington and four motels and a retirement hotel in Oregon. Completion of the merger, which is expected by the end of the month, is subject to various conditions, including American Pacific shareholder approval and receipt of any necessary regulatory consent.
