SMU Set to Play Arizona in Football
United Press International
DALLAS — SMU officials have announced that they had completed plans to include the University of Arizona on the school’s football schedule for the 1985 season.
SMU had dropped North Texas State from its schedule and for the past few months had been trying to add an 11th game.
The contest will be played at Tuscon, Ariz., on Oct. 5. The kickoff time has not yet been decided.
SMU’s previously announced non-conference foes are Texas El Paso in Dallas on Sept. 7 and Oklahoma at Norman, Sept. 14.
