Local News in Brief : Simi Council Votes to Raise Own Salaries

The Simi Valley City Council voted Monday night to increase the salaries of council members from $200 to $375 per month.
The salary increase was carried by a unanimous vote during a regularly scheduled council meeting at City Hall. The raises will not take effect until after the November, 1986, council elections.
