Mondale to Leave Capital for Reagan’s Inauguration

WASHINGTON — Walter F, Mondale, the unsuccessful Democratic nominee, probably would feel like the loneliest man in town on Inauguration Day
So he won’t be here.
“He’ll be out of the city,” Pat Sarcone, Mondale’s executive assistant, said Wednesday. “He’s not doing any inaugural activities.
