Dutch Pension Funds Invest in U.S. Real Estate

The pension funds of three major Dutch corporations have reached agreement with Aetna Life & Casualty to jointly acquire real estate properties in the United States.
The three pension funds, each having an equal interest, recently established ADH Properties Inc. to make joint real estate investments with Aetna.
Total investment over a three-year period is estimated at $60 million, with additional funds to be contributed by Aetna.
The Dutch companies are AKZO N.V., Koninklijke Nederlandsche Hoogovens En Staalfabrieken N.V. (Royal Netherlands Blast Furnance and Steelworks), and Naamloze Vennootschap DSM.
