Boys’ basketball: Everett Turner’s 20 points lift Colony

Senior guard Everett Turner scored 20 points, senior forward Brandon McGinnis had 16 points and sophomore guard Megsiah Villanueva added 10 as Colony (9-7) took 13th place in the Oaks Christian tournament with a 69-61 victory over Moorpark.

Senior point guard Sam Cirillo had 22 points for the Musketeers (7-8).

Earlier, in the 15th-place game, Eisenhower beat New York City Dwight despite 29 points from Lions sophomore guard Kieran Hamilton. Junior guard Marquane Harris scored 16 points, senior guard Thayer Sims had 15 and senior forward Nate Lowery added 11 for the Eagles (3-7).
