Boys’ basketball: Sam Cirillo sparks Moorpark’s win

Senior point guard Sam Cirillo scored 16 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter to lead Moorpark past Eisenhower, 54-46, in a 13th-place semifinal of the Oaks Christian tournament. Jake Myers added 13 points for the Musketeers (7-7) in a game that was tied 28-28 going into the fourth quarter.
Junior forward Marquane Harris had 16 points and Nate Lowery added 11 for Eisenhower (2-7).
In the other 13th-place semifinal, senior guard Everett Turner had 16 points, including four three-pointers, and Derric Green added 15 points as Colony (8-7) withstood a 24-point effort by New York City Dwight’s Kieran Hamilton to post a 70-39 victory.
