Boys’ basketball: Bullard leads Centennial at half

Fresno Bullard has a 36-34 lead over Corona Centennial at halftime of tonight’s first championship semifinal of the Oaks Christian tournament.

The Huskies took their first lead at 30-29 on a fast-break dunk by Sam Finley with 4:30 left in the second quarter. Bullard jumped ahead 10-0 and 14-4 but Centennial steadily cut into its deficit and had a chance to take the lead at the end of the first quarter, but Finley missed a three-pointer at the buzzer.
