Studio City Harvard-Westlake stamped itself as one of the top girls’ soccer teams by winning the Mater Dei tournament championship with a 1-0 win over Villa Park.
Sophomore Courtney O’Brien was named tournament MVP after contributing four goals and three assists in the tournament.
One of Harvard-Westlake’s biggest victories came against Aliso Niguel, the No. 1 team in Southern Section Division 1.
