Boys’ basketball: Beverly Hills tournament begins

The Beverly Hills tournament begins on Monday. Unbeaten Sun Valley Village Christian tops the field.

Monday’s schedule: Hollywood vs. Newbury Park, 3 p.m.; View Park vs. North Torrance, 4:30 p.m.; Village Christian vs. St. Bernard, 6 p.m.; Beverly Hills vs. Bernstein, 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s schedule: Hamilton vs. St. Bernard, 3 p.m.; Cabrillo vs. Bernstein, 4:30 p.m.; North Torrance vs. West Torrance, 6 p.m.; Leuzinger vs. Hollywood, 7:30 p.m. The championship game is Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The La Canada tournament begins Monday with La Canada facing Besant Hill at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s schedule: Marina vs. Buena, 3 p.m.; St. Francis vs. Glendale, 4:30 p.m.; Hart vs. Besant Hill, 6 p.m.; La Canada vs. Arcadia, 7:30 p.m. Wedneday’s schedule: Bonita vs. Glendale, 3 p.m.; Marina vs. St. Francis, 4:3 p.m.; Besant Hill vs. Arcadia, 6 p.m.; La Canada vs. Hart, 7:30 p.m. The championship game is Saturday.
