Quarterback Devon Dunn of Mission Hills Alemany is being recruited by lots of Ivy League schools, and for good reason. He’s smart and efficient.
When Coach Dean Herrington has a quarterback with those kind of qualities, his offense is usually tough to stop. Add perhaps the best collection of receivers anywhere, and you begin to understand the problems opponents will have against the Warriors.
In his opening game against Pasadena, Dunn completed 13 of 16 passes for 162 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-8 victory.
USC-bound Steven Mitchell caught seven passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
Next up for Alemany is a Friday home game against Muir.
