Football: Riding the train to Dorsey High

It just got a lot easier to attend a Dorsey High football game at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

The Metro Expo Line has stops at Jackie Robinson Stadium (Expo/La Brea) and right next to Dorsey’s campus (Farmdale).

Whether that helps attract more fans to games or more students to Dorsey remains to be seen. But it’s certainly a comfortable way to get to games, especially the Oct. 19 Coliseum League showdown against Crenshaw.

‘We’re hoping people will come out to watch the games,’ Dorsey Coach Paul Knox said.
