Baseball: Cathedral’s Willie Aguilar is invited to U15 national team trials

Willie Aguilar, a standout infielder at L.A. Cathedral last season as a freshman, has been invited to the U15 national team trials next month in North Carolina. The team will be coached by Chatsworth’s Tom Meusborn, and Harvard-Westlake’s Matt LaCour is serving as an assistant.

Also selected were incoming freshmen Blake Rutherford (Chaminade), Chase Strumpf (JSerra) and Isaak Gutierrez (St. John Bosco). Claremont sophomore Tyler Witt also was invited to the trials.
