Baseball: Conejo Oaks improves to 3-0 at U17 championships

The Conejo Oaks stayed unbeaten on Sunday at the U17 championships in Arizona.
Sean Barry (Moorpark) struck out six in three innings of an 8-2 victory. Cody Bennett (West Ranch) had five strikeouts in four innings. Myles Hager (Chaminade) and Bryson Cronenbold (Thousand Oaks) each had two hits.
Conejo Oaks improved to 3-0 with a 1-0 victory. Kevin Lewallyn (Chaminade) threw four shutout innings, striking out five. Hart graduate Ricky Torres got the save with five strikeouts.
