Baseball: North Hollywood advances in Division II playoffs

North Hollywood has reached the City Section Division II semifinals after a 3-0 victory over Fremont. Brayden Harris struck out six in a complete-game performance.

Zane Weston and Eddie Torres both drove in runs.

Maywood also advanced to the semifinals with an 8-2 victory over Gardena. Maywood will play South Gate, a 9-6 win over Wilson.
