Boys’ basketball: Garfield is hanging with El Camino Real

Supported by a loud, vocal fan base, Garfield is refusing to let top-seeded Woodland Hills El Camino Real pull away in the City Section Division II championship game at Roybal.
After falling behind, 28-15, in the second quarter, the Bulldogs scored the final seven points of the quarter and trail at halftime, 28-22. Francisco Aguilar made two three-pointers in the quarter.
Julian Richardson leads all scorers with 14 points for El Camino Real.
