Girls’ basketball: L.A. Windward falls to No. 1 team, St. Mary’s

Los Angeles Windward was beaten by Arizona St. Mary’s, 60-48, on Monday at Arizona State. St. Mary’s is ranked No. 1 in the nation for girls’ basketball and is 17-0.

Windward (16-3) was led by Kristine Simon, who scored 20 points and had seven rebounds.
