Marmonte League favorite Calabasas has won its first 10 games, including the championship of the Palm Springs tournament with a 57-53 victory over the host school.
The Coyotes have a promising sophomore guard in Jeremy Lieberman. He was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
Calabasas will get a strong test from Oaks Christian on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in an opening game of the Oaks Christian tournament.
