Girls’ basketball: L.A. Windward defeats Brea Olinda in rematch

In a top girls’ basketball game, Los Angeles Windward avenged its only loss of the season with a 65-40 victory over Brea Olinda on Wednesday night at Windward.

Imani Stafford scored 14 points and had 24 rebounds. Kristen Simon had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Windward (5-1) lost in the championship game of the Brea tournament, 69-65.

‘It was a good win,’ Coach Steve Smith said.
