Quarterback Rio Ruiz connected on a 28-yard touchdown pass to tight end Sal Velasquez to give Bishop Amat a 7-0 lead with 2:30 left in the first quarter.

Bishop Amat is looking to stay undefeated on the season as it tries to avenge last year’s 38-30 loss to Alemany.
