Former Newhall Hart and UCLA pitcher Trevor Bauer threw two shutout innings in his professional debut for Visalia Rawhide on Saturday night, striking out three while allowing one hit. One of those who struck out was former Encino Crespi standout Michael Gilmartin.
Bauer was the No. 3 player overall taken in the June draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
