Etiwanda is excited about the upcoming football season because 6-foot-5 senior quarterback Larry Cutbrith returns after passing for nearly 3,000 yards as a junior.
On Friday at the Claremont tournament, Cutbrith was slinging the ball left, right, short and deep. He has some veteran receivers, making the Eagles a dangerous passing team.
Another impressive player was Encino Crespi receiver Chris Harper, who was making leaping catches for touchdowns and helped the Celts to a 4-0 record on the day.
And Fontana Summit quarterback Bernard Porter was showing off a strong arm.
