Richard Smith has caught a 53-yard touchdown pass with 3:27 left in the third quarter, pulling Long Beach Poly to within 13-10 of Mater Dei.

Quarterback Chaiyes Hales rolled left, fired a short pass to the elusive Smith, who took off and delivered a key score to get the Jackrabbits back into the game.
