Corbin Anderson’s one-yard touchdown run with 6:08 left in the third quarter has given Mater Dei a 13-3 lead over Long Beach Poly.

Mater Dei keeps relying on its defense. Miguel Sandoval’s interception was Mater Dei’s third of the game at the Poly 41.

Max Wittek made a key fourth-down completion to Josh Cook to pick up a first down on a nine-yard play to the Poly 28. Then he connected with Cook on a 21-yard play.
