Mater Dei coaches are ready

Twenty minutes before kickoff, more than a dozen Santa Ana Mater Dei coaches gathered in a circle on the field around head Coach Bruce Rollinson and got a pep talk.

Then they put their arms into the middle of the circle and broke huddle as if they were playing in the game against Long Beach Poly.

We’ll see if the players are as ready as the coaching staff.
