Los Angeles Lincoln could be on the verge of its first league title since 1991 largely because of Carlos Duran, who has scored 13 touchdowns while becoming the first Tiger to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season since 1997.
Lincoln (8-0, 3-0) plays host to L.A. Marshall (6-2, 3-0) on Friday for the Northern League title.
