Football: Wittek throws second TD for Mater Dei

Mater Dei quarterback Max Wittek continues to dissect Edison’s defense.

The Monarchs’ 6’ 5’ senior hit receiver Glen Raphael between the numbers on a crossing pattern on third-and-goal from the 10-yard line and visiting Mater Dei has built a 27-7 lead with 4:06 left in the third quarter at Orange Coast College.

Wittek has completed 15 of 24 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns so far. He has also rushed for a score.
