Venice (1-1) will be missing two of its top players for Thursday’s nonleague game against visiting West Hills Chaminade (1-0).
Running back Teondray Caldwell has a high ankle sprain that will probably sideline him for a couple of weeks. Receiver Gabriel Marks isn’t expected back until next week because of a pulled hip flexor muscle.
‘Tell Ed he shouldn’t even practice,’ said Venice Coach Angelo Gasca, referring to Chaminade Coach Ed Croson.
