Mater Dei, ranked No. 2 in the Southland by The Times, defeated No. 7 Santa Monica, 69-57, tonight at the Westside Extravaganza at Santa Monica.

Jessica Duarte had 19 points and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 17 for Mater Dei (21-1). Thea Lemberger led Santa Monica (16-6) with 17 points and Moriah Faulk added 14.
