Blackwell comes through for Mater Dei

The speedy Victor Blackwell caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Max Wittek, and Mater Dei has cut its deficit to 14-6 against Bishop Amat with 2:32 left in the second quarter. The conversion kick was no good after an illegal procedure penalty forced the kick five yards longer.

Blackwell caught a 38-yard pass on the drive.
