Taft senior quarterback Antuan Goodall was carted off the field by an ambulance Friday following the Toreadors’ 28-21 victory over El Camino Real.

No information regarding his condition was immediately available, although he played the entire game. Coach Matt Kerstetter declined comment.

I did not witness what led to him laying on the ground for about 15 minutes after the game. Nonetheless, Taft’s coaching staff and family members hovered around Goodall while police asked spectators to back away so that there was enough space for the ambulance to arrive. He was taken to West Hills hospital.

El Camino Real quarterback Ryan Meier missed the second half after suffering what Coach Kevin Williams termed a “mild concussion†sometime late in the second quarter. He was also taken to West Hills hospital.
