Football: Birmingham’s Briggs still isn’t 100%

USC-bound running back Trajuan Briggs has played for Birmingham the last two weeks, but he hasn’t been close to 100% after returning from a foot injury. In fact, he has hardly played for the 0-7 Patriots.
But Coach Jim Rose is hoping more physical therapy will do the trick, because his team needs a healthy Briggs for the final three regular-season games in a final push to make the City Section Division I playoffs.
