Blackwell comes through for Mater Dei

Talented junior receiver Victor Blackwell of Mater Dei has been largely quiet, but he woke up with 1:15 left in the third quarter and caught a 43-yard touchdown pass from Max Wittek. The Monarchs trail Servite, 27-14. It was a seven-play, 80-yard drive.
