With a 4-2 Foothill League victory over Valencia West Ranch, Newhall Hart kept alive its hopes for a third-place finish and a Southern Section Division I playoff berth.

The Indians need another victory over West Ranch combined with a Saugus loss to Valencia to earn a berth.
